Pet cremation in Newport, Shropshire

I cannot thank the team enough for the incredible care and compassion they showed when taking care of our beloved Emily. During such a heartbreaking time, their gentleness brought us immense comfort. They were so respectful when they came to pick Emily up, and bringing her back home to us where she belongs was handled with the exact same dignity and care. They treated Emily as if she were their own, and I am forever grateful for their kindness during this difficult time. Thank you.

A wonderfully compassionate service carried out tenderly and with love. I loved the fact that our loving pug’s final stop was at this beautiful place. I placed her wrapped up in her blanket in a lovely soft bed in front of the window with the sun shining down on the wonderful view. I know for a fact she’d have loved that and could have sat there forever with the sun shining down on her. The team were loving and patient and the service itself was quick, professional and tender. It was a fitting place to take a very loved member of the family and we can now lovingly place her in her final resting place. Thank you.

It’s difficult to put into words just how good this service is, but I need to tell you: in the worst time of your life, Newport Pet Crematorium will give you a moment of peace and a sense of giving your pet the best goodbye you could. The setting is beautiful, with glorious rolling fields for miles, and I could picture our lad running through those fields as we sat in the lovely log cabin, waiting for Matthew to transfer his ashes to a beautiful, good-quality, tasteful casket. After a very traumatic 24 hours, it was the first time I felt I could breathe properly. The peacefulness of the setting, Matthew’s calm, kind and empathetic approach and the attention to detail gave me a brief opportunity to reflect and remember the happy moments, instead of the most recent ones. Our lad was beautifully presented on a dog bed, and was accompanied by his paw prints, a tiny jar of his fur, some wildflower seeds to scatter in his memory and a beautiful certificate. Matthew and Lyne also gave us a handwritten card expressing their sympathy, which was a lovely touch. As a dog owner, you dread this day, and if you’re reading this in that position, I am so sorry for your loss. But trust me, the last kindest thing you can do for your beloved pet is use Newport Pet Crematorium. We will be eternally grateful to you, Matthew and Lyne.

I can’t say enough. The care offered was impeccable. The total thought that went into returning Hara to us was heartwarming. It made the experience so settling. To take time to do his paw prints and bottle some of his fur astonished me. Lovely.

Thank you so much for what you did for Henry. We feel so much better now he is home. It was a brilliant and professional service for all of it.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Matthew and Lyne at Newport Pet Crematorium for the love and care they gave to Chester after his untimely passing. The service they offer is excellent. Chester was only 8 and a half and still had years left in front of him. Although his passing has left us with an empty space in our hearts, the small jar of his fur, the paw prints along with a certificate, card and wildflower seeds were a perfect reminder of him. Again, a huge thanks from my family and me.

Excellent. Matthew was lovely and very sympathetic after our loss of Rio. The paw prints and fur were a lovely gesture. It was reassuring knowing Rio was cared for after he passed.

Sadly we had to have our beautiful Staffy put to sleep on Friday after 18 and a half years of him being a massive part of our family. I was only going to leave him with someone I felt would look after him. As soon as Lyne opened the door, I knew my George was going to be cared for and treated with love. The room is so lovely and I know George would happily have gone there! Even though my eyes were so swollen from crying, Lyne managed to look into my eyes and say how sorry she was for my loss, which was so sincere and heartfelt! I know my George would have loved her! Everything Lyne did was done with warmth and feeling that day. I really could not recommend Newport Pet Crematorium enough! I could write so much more, but my eyes are still swollen and the tears are still falling, so it’s hard to see.

We had to have our beloved Tiny the chihuahua put to sleep. We googled a cremation place and decided to use Newport Pet Crematorium. I cannot thank Matthew enough. He went out of his way to be comforting and caring. I loved that we got paw prints and a keepsake bottle of his fur, along with a packet of seeds for remembrance for Tiny. I wish we’d known about this place when we lost our bulldog in 2024. I know no one wants anything to happen to our beloved pets, but if you ever have to, I would highly recommend this place. Even though it’s an extremely sad time, the service is more than excellent.

I am not one to ever post reviews, but this place deserved one. Of course it is a service you never wish to use, but the care they showed in a difficult time is very special and means a lot. Thank you, Matthew and Lyne.
